Search for "Rideau Lakes (Township) Taxes" in the payee list. Your "account number" is your 19-digit roll number (0831XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX), which can be found on your tax bill. Do not enter spaces or decimals when entering the account number. 

If you have more than one property EVERY Roll Number must be setup as a separate account. 

• Our preauthorized payment plan allows for property owners to pay in 10 equal monthly installments throughout the year.
• Our plan runs from February to November, with withdrawals occurring on the last business day of each month.
• The pre-authorization plan will automatically renew each year until we receive written notification from the property owner to cancel the plan. For cancellation, we require at least 14 days notice before the upcoming withdrawal.
• If you are selling the property it is the property owners responsibility to notify us to cancel the pre-authorized payment plan.
• This plan is only available to properties that do not have any tax arrears.
• If a pre-authorized payment is returned, an NSF charge of $55 will be applied to the account. This NSF charge, as well as the missed payment will need to be replaced by the property owner in order to remain on the plan.

Taxes can be paid at any bank branch so long as you provide them a copy of your bill.

Foreign Currency

If you are mailing a cheque in a foreign currency, we do not provide a guaranteed exchange rates. We will credit the account the amount exchanged at the time of deposit. If there is still a balance owing, the property owner is responsible for ensuring additional payment is made.
