Entrance Permits

An Entrance Permit is required before creating or altering an entrance from a Township Road to your property.

An entrance permit is not required for entrances from a private road.

If your property is on a County Road, contact the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville Roads Department.

• Submit a completed Entrance Permit Application and applicable fee.
• Stake the proposed entrance location for inspection. If unsuitable, an alternate location will be identified.
• The Roads Supervisor will determine whether a culvert is required.
• The property owner is responsible for constructing and maintaining the entranceway.
